sound technical knowledge to help our growing client base make those
adjustments.
If you accept this challenge your role will be to develop,
sell and deliver consultancy to farmers and environmental agencies, providing
advice across a range of farming and environmental topics. As well as specialist
product knowledge their clients demand conservation/habitat management,
catchment sensitive farming, resource management and agri-environment scheme
consultancy.
A FACTS qualification and good knowledge of farming practice
is essential.

Job Description
My client wishes to appoint one or more farm environment
consultants to sell and deliver a range of services, working from Midlands
office or other agreed locations.
Key Responsibilities
-
To actively lead, sell and deliver my clients specialist
product to farm businesses and public and private sector landlords.

To sell and deliver farm related environmental advice, such
as conservation/habitat management, catchment sensitive farming, resource
management and agrienvironment scheme consultancy.

To sell and deliver other farm based consultancy, for
example business and financial management, diversification, planning
applications, energy, and farm waste.

To have a flexible approach to work in assisting other
colleagues as necessary to meet business objectives.
Key Skills/experience
-
It is essential that applicants have a degree or equivalent
in a relevant subject, eg agriculture, land management, environment and are
FACTS qualified with good nutrient planning skills and experience of one or
more nutrient planning tools eg PLANET.

Solid experience of delivering consultancy/advice to farm
businesses preferably in a commercial context.

Good up-to-date knowledge and experience of farm business
management techniques, husbandry, policy, regulation including NVZ
regulations, agrienvironment and other grants schemes available to farm
businesses.

Broad knowledge of farm waste / manures storage, handling
and application systems..co.uk

A BASIS qualification and familiarity with SAFFO
regulations and CIRIA 126 / construction standards would be an advantage.

A track record of successful sales to farm businesses.

Good team working, interpersonal, presentation and written
communication skills.

Flexible, adaptable, willing and able to travel and work
away from home location.

Commercial awareness.
