My client is currently recruiting for an environmental team
player to provide a significant senior role in guiding and developing expertise
in projects involving Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA), including
technical delivery and project management. The role will include proposal
preparation and client liaison/communication as well as opportunities to assist
the Market Champions in business development.
This post forms a Senior part of the team working towards the
overall business strategy.
Responsibilities
-
Project managing SEAs and other environmental planning
related projects in the UK and internationally
-
Staff mentoring and development, advisory and review
function for more junior staff in the above technical areas

Marketing, Business and client development and championing
of services both internally in and externally.

Developing relationships and strategic alliances and
improve the SEA service and maximize opportunities

Bid preparation and presentation
-
The majority of the work will be UK based but there will be
opportunities for undertaking overseas assignments
Your qualifications and experience
-
Undergraduate and Masters degrees in relevant disciplines;
-
Extensive previous experience; consultancy experience
advantageous including participation in several relevant projects;

Expertise and experience of SEA and EIA.

Ability to develop business in the public sector.
