My client is an established multi-disciplinary consultancy
practice specialising in landscape character, urban design and the provision of
specialist experts such as arboriculturists, ecologists and landscape
architects; and continues to go from strength to strength despite the current
economic situation.
They are seeking to appoint a Consultant to their planning
service to lead client liaison associated with our work which is UK based.
Whilst you will be based in Essex; your work will take you
across the UK. Reporting to the Managing Director, and part of a close knit
planning team, you will be responsible for multi-disciplinary outputs.
You will:

Have proven skills in managing large scale
multi-disciplinary projects to fulfilment, with highly developed people
skills, sound project management knowledge and experience as well as technical
expertise;

Have extensive ecological experience, ideally holding a
minimum of one protected species licence;

Have strong experience in all aspects of arboriculture,
including planning (BS5837) and insurance/subsidence

Have experience in planning principles;
-
Have proven commercial skills;

Have a degree in a relevant professional discipline.
