Our Client provides environmental planning and landscape
design solutions for local authorities and private developers. They are
therefore seeking to recruit a dynamic and experienced ecological consultant to
undertake ecological surveys and assessments, particularly of designated
protected species.
The position will involve work such as:

Ecological and protected species surveys and assessments
-
Extended Phase I ecological assessments
-
Report and proposal writing
-
Project management
The successful candidate will have:
-
A BSc degree with a minimum 2.1 in ecology, environmental
biology or similar
-
Field ecological experience
-
A sound understanding of UK nature conservation
legislation, regulation and administration
-
Botany Knowledge
-
Knowledge of Arboriculture
-
At least one protected species licences an advantage
-
High standards of written and oral communication and IT
skills
-
Driving licence and willingness to travel throughout the UK
