Utility Arborists/Arboricultural Surveyor

My client has recently won a very large utilities based contract and as such are looking to find experienced utility Arboriculturalists of all levels including Arborists, Team leaders and Arboricultural surveyors. Prior experience is a necessity along with relevant qualifications. My client offers very competitive salaries and great opportunities to progress.

The successful candidates should have the following: -

Arborists

• UA1

• CS 38 and 39

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Commercial awareness

• Ability to work effectively alone without supervision

Team Leaders

• UA1 and UA2

• Substantial practical experience, ideally at team leader level

Arboricultural Surveyor

• UA1, UA2 and UA5

• Strong practical experience

• Electrical network authorisation, preferably Scottish Power authorisation.

• Knowledge and experience of tree surveying techniques and risk/hazard assessment methodologies with particular reference to utilities and electricity supply

• Experience and knowledge of preparing clear work specifications and risk assessments for contractors, for individual or small groups of trees

In addition to this all candidates should ideally have the following: -

• Current full UK driving licence

• A sound knowledge of tree identification, tree physiology, pests and diseases

• Numerate and proficient with MS Word and MS Excel and a broad understanding of GIS systems and hand held data capture
