Offshore Development ManagerTo meet the needs of FORL's expanding offshore wind portfolio we are seeking an enthusiastic Offshore Development Manager to join our growing team in London. You will assist in the many varied aspects of developing our offshore project portfolio and will contribute to the implementation of FORL's Offshore Wind and Marine Renewables strategy. It is important that you have project management experience preferably gained from the offshore renewables or other energy sectors, and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Your core skills could be from a wide range of disciplines such as marine environmental science or marine engineering, but above all you must be able to demonstrate an ability to assist with the timely delivery of projects. On a day a to day basis you will report to the Offshore Projects Manager and assist with many aspects of development and consenting work. This will include the management of specialist consultants and contractors involved in technical project design, Environmental Impact Assessment processes, and involvement in the consenting process. This will require an ability to specify and tender offshore survey work and associated studies, work with technical managers, as well as engage with regulators, statutory consultees and the wide range of stakeholder interests.
