Our UK Offshore Wind Development Team is responsible for prospecting, carrying out the preliminary design, and obtaining planning consents for new projects - and is at the cutting edge of this major growth industry. Joining us as Offshore Consents Manager for Scotland, you'll be responsible for project managing the consenting of the offshore elements of all offshore wind farm development in Scotland, including the 905MW Inch Cape project. Your primary focus will be offshore consent strategy, and leading and coordinating the offshore EIA and consultation programme. This will involve acting as main point of contact for the offshore lead EIA contractor, and providing guidance and decision making support to key EIA consultants. Reporting to the Offshore Development Manager for Scotland, you will coordinate all internal and external consent work - building strong relationships and working closely with partner companies, stakeholders and consultees. You will also make sure that consenting, engineering and design work is closely and effectively linked. Following the point of consent, you will remain involved with projects, discharging consent conditions and monitoring progress. A skilled project manager, ideally with relevant experience, you are a team player with excellent relationship building and influencing skills. You will demonstrate specialist knowledge of renewable energy, particularly offshore renewables, and preferably experience of the offshore EIA and consenting process. A relevant degree qualification is also highly desirable.
