The Position

The solar PV division is currently experiencing strong growth. We are looking to recruit an experienced PV design engineer who can take responsibility for producing Solar PV technical drawings on AutoCAD along with the supporting technical data needed to support our dynamic sales team. There will also be opportunities to be involved with other technologies on offer from, Segen.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of high quality AutoCAD drawings and technical proposals for clients
• Providing high-level technical support for the sales dept
• Responsible for all design aspects (roof integration, solar design & electrical / grid connection)
• Production and maintenance of product library files and standard templates/drawings/Images relating to Solar PV Systems

The Individual

• Technically competent, hardworking with good attention to detail
• Experienced in the design of solar PV systems
• Experience of technically-supporting a sales team
• Relevant industry qualifications an advantage
• Computer literate and keen to work for a company with advanced web-based IT systems
• Must have an enthusiasm for renewable energy and solar PV in particular
• A good communicator
• Full driving licence
