Spatial Data Scientist (LON0000QJ)

We are seeking to recruit a technically strong Spatial Data Scientist who understands the challenges of GIS and data delivery, remote sensing and anlytics on projects of all scales. A key role will be the automation of GIS workflows, the implementation of numerical models and the development of new applications. The position will be part of the Digital Insight team, with many opportunities to get involved in many other aspects of Arup’s Digital business.
Working within an expanding team in London and liaising with colleagues across Western and Northern England, acting as a geo-spatial or remote sensing specialist on projects across sectors and scales. The core of the roll will be as a Spatial Data Scientist delivering the full suite of geospatial solutions as and when required by internal and external clients, from simple cartography through to full enterprise solutions. There will be a focus on application development and building of numerical models.
