We now have an opportunity for an Earth Observation Specialist with excellent technical knowledge of data science concepts, geospatial data formats and principles to join the growing Geospatial Intelligence team.

As a key member of the Catapult's Geospatial Intelligence team, you will be part of an exciting and expanding effort to further the exploitation of data from remote sensing satellites. The role involves close engagement in cutting-edge development projects and activities at the forefront of satellite technologies.

Your daily activities will range from scientific research through commercial productisation, from collaborative development to thematic workshop organisation. The successful candidate will enjoy working within stimulating environment supported by the latest tools and experienced and skilled staff from a diverse range of backgrounds.

This is a permanent role directly with Satellite Applications Catapult. We are based in Harwell with great public transport connections from all of Oxfordshire as well as London.
