Are you a skilled data modelling specialist with a background in and an understanding of natural capital and landscapes? This exciting ongoing role within CSIRO's Land & Water - Landscape and Forest Function Team could be your next career opportunity! As the Landscape Scientist and Geospatial Modeller, you will become part of a dynamic team that collaboratively works on a range of ecological challenges and strives to improve the sustainable management of our landscapes through their research. In this role, you will contribute to understanding, quantifying and accounting for natural capital at a range of scales, with a focus on developing and delivering geospatial solutions and data analytics for projects delivering to both the private and public sectors. You will play a key role in enhancing the geospatial capabilities of a suite of process-based models, and will facilitate running these in near real time and in a spatial context, which will enable the integration of independent data sources to create user-friendly products that meet the needs of our internal and external clients.
