Tenure-track or Project Assistant/Associate/Full Professor
in Remote Sensing and Geomatics/Geoinformatics
The Center for Space and Remote Sensing Research (CSRSR) at National Central University, Taiwan invites applications for two tenure-track or project positions in Remote Sensing and Geomatics/Geoinformatics. The positions will be filled at the level of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor and begin in August 2014. Successful candidates are expected to demonstrate a commitment to excellence in research and teaching in undergraduate and graduate courses.
Candidates must have a PhD or equivalent doctoral degree in Remote Sensing, Geomatics/Geoinformatics or closely related fields. Desired fields of expertise include:
- remote sensing (optical, microwave, LiDAR)
- photogrammetry
- spatial analysis and geographic information sciences
- satellite geodesy, positioning, and navigation
- atmospheric remote sensing
- image processing/analysis, computer vision/graphics
- remote sensing for environmental, ecological, or earth sciences applications
