Within this position, you will be expected to draw upon your expertise and knowledge of the local Oil & Gas, Mining and Exploration markets in expanding the Company's footprint within South America.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

• Identify key technical and commercial players in your region. Build and nurture relationships of trust with these stakeholders. Become their focal point of contact for all airborne survey sales related enquires in your region.
• Develop and execute an aggressive sales strategy to achieve targets for your region.
• Identify and make use of opportunities, such as trade exhibitions and tender processes.
• Manage the full sale cycle and close business.
• Provide visible and on-going contact within your clients, scheduling regular client interactions.
• Manage sales process, forecasting and regular reporting
• Keep abreast of industry trends and practices relating to core business. Be proactive in sharing this knowledge.
• Preparation and implementation of marketing strategy and budget in cooperation with the senior management
• Assist with tender preparation and submission and contract negotiations when required
• Develop and maintain network with other members of Brazilian institutes and peers in various international companies.

Education and Experience

• B.Sc degree in Geology/Geophysics, Business or Marketing.
• An MBA degree would be preferable.
• Minimum eight years of experience in the industry in a sales and marketing capacity.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Experience in the relevant sectors within Brazil and South America.
• Fluent in spoken and written English and Portuguese.
• Working independently, self motivated and the will to succeed.
• The ability to drive and to adapt sensibly to changing circumstances.
• Computer skills in Windows and Microsoft Office packages are essential.
