We are seeking candidates to undertake research in the area of high-resolution remote sensing using satellite and UAV data, with a focus on agricultural and hydrological related problems. A strong background in programming, agro-hydrological modeling, machine learning and/or data analytics is required. Previous experience in retrieving evaporation, vegetation health/biomass or agricultural yield using such data, as well as the operation, sensor integration and technical development of UAVs, would be viewed favorably. Evidence of published research in these areas is a pre-requisite for application.
Located on the Red Sea 80 km north of Jeddah in Saudi Arabia, KAUST is an international graduate level research University.
