Join us and you'll be responsible for delivering our Geographical Information Systems, geospatial data including the Local Land and Property Gazetteer, Local Street Gazetteer, corporate CAD, Land Survey function and digital mapping services. One of your main responsibilities will be to develop a comprehensive corporate strategy for the use of GIS, CAD and Gazetteers. Driving innovation will be key to your success. You'll be given the autonomy to build a team of first-class Geodata specialists who will advise and support colleagues using geospatial technologies and solutions. The team will also support GIS and CAD users in other services across the Council - including monitoring the use of geospatial technologies and setting best practice.
