Geospatial-Intelligence Analysts

The National Centre for Geospatial Intelligence (NCGI), based at RAF Wyton in Cambridgeshire, is currently seeking to recruit the next generation of Geospatial-Intelligence Analysts (GAs). These roles represent an exciting and challenging opportunity to be part of the development of the next generation of GAs within the UK Intelligence Community.

Geospatial Analysis refers to the manipulation of geographic data to identify environmentally relevant information that is referenced to geography and that can also be referenced to time. GAs at NCGI extract geospatial information, derivative information and multi-INT data for analysis, visualisation and modelling to solve problems and enhance the GEOINT knowledge of mission-specific intelligence questions and requirements.

Successful candidates will utilise geographic information science and technology, spatial thinking, remote sensing, geographic information systems (GIS), global positioning systems (GPS), intelligence issues, and social and physical sciences to create information, characterise events, and discover relationships and trends.

There is an ever-growing demand within the Intelligence Community for GAs with expertise in the acquisition, representation and analysis of geographic information.
