Research Fellow in Synthetic Aperture Radar (2 Positions)



Salary: $52,742 - $71,571 p.a. plus 17% superannuation

The Australian Government has recently introduced a "Super Science Fellowship" scheme to attract and retain high quality early-career researchers from within Australia and around the world.

The Universities of Melbourne, Monash, New South Wales and Flinders, in collaboration with the Cooperative Research Centre for Spatial Information (CRC-SI), have been successful in securing two of these Fellowships in the area of Climate Science

.

We have an opportunity for two Fellows. You will be based with Prof. Kim Lowell in the Department of Geomatics at the University of Melbourne, but will be eligible to spend periods of up to 12 months in total at the collaborating Universities. You will work closely with Professors Jeff Walker (Monash), Tony Milne and Linlin Ge (New South Wales) and Jorg Hacker (Flinders) at the collaborating Universities.
