Senior Aerial Photography AnalystOrganisation: NZ Aerial Mapping Limited Position Purpose: Process and evaluate Vexcel UltraCam digital aerial camera system imagery. The main focus of the position will involve taking raw aerial photography collected with UltraCam camera systems and processing them into lvl2 and lvl3 products. You will be responsible for checking the imagery thus created, signing it off as being fit for purpose or not, trouble-shooting and producing high quality output. As well as undertaking image processing you will be responsible for supervising a team of 3-4 staff undertaking this same work. You will work with our airborne camera operators, camera suppliers, aerial photography analyst's, photogrammetry staff and project managers. Position Requirements: Successful candidates will have experience in working with Vexcel UltraCam imagery. They need to be self-starters and able to demonstrate excellent communication and time management skills. Along with an eye to detail and experience leading a team of staff, solid IT and data management skills are required. Candidates need to be able to multi-task and work to deadlines. The position requires staff to travel for deployments of 2-3 months at a time. Ideal candidates will be familiar with UltraMap processing software.
