Postdoctoral Remote Sensing Scientist



A Postdoctoral Remote Sensing Scientist with research interests in quantitative remote sensing and Linux/UNIX computer programming experience is sought. They will work on research and development of MODIS-Landsat data fusion and information extraction techniques in support of the NASA funded Web-enabled Landsat Data (WELD) project (http://landsat.usgs.gov/WELD.php). The Geographic Information Science Center of Excellence (http://globalmonitoring.sdstate.edu) is a dynamic internationally recognized research center located in a small university town in South Dakota which was recently ranked the 9th most livable state in the US.
