Senior Lecturer in Geographic Information Systems (GIS)

The appointee will be responsible for teaching and developing courses in GIS. The appointee, as Director of the GIS Unit, will assume overall responsibility and accountability within the GIS Unit. The appointee will also be responsible for the promotion of GIS research, and is expected to establish good relationship with stakeholders in the Pacific Island Region.

Salary Range: Senior Lecturer: F$74,995 to F$86,533 per annum (Inclusive of 15% Gratuity)

The University may pay an inducement allowance of up to 20% to secure the services of an exceptionally well qualified candidate.

These positions are available for a term of three years and may be renewed by mutual agreement.

In addition to the above benefits, the University contributes 10% of basic salary to an approved superannuation scheme and provides airfare and relocation costs where appropriate.
