Field Hydrogeologist - Doha, Qatar

Job description:

• Supervise drilling, installation and Hydrogeologic testing of shallow monitoring wells
• Conduct in-situ permeability testing
• Lead field teams on groundwater monitoring and groundwater sampling campaigns
• Conduct data transfer from field to database

Requirements:

• Bachelor or higher, Hydrogeologist, Geologist, Drilling Engineer
• At least 10 years experience in the area of groundwater investigation
• It skills: MS-Office, GIS and Database knowledge are an advantage
• Fluency in English, knowledge of Arabic is an advantage
• Others: Capable of field work under extreme climate conditions, valid driving license (light vehicle)

Contract period:

• 1 year, extension possible on mutual agreement, start November 2011
