Senior Hydrogeologist - Waterloo, Canada

Based in our office in Waterloo (Ontario, Canada), you will work within a project team, providing technical input to a wide variety of hydrogeological and hydrological projects, including water resources investigations and mining hydrogeology. Fieldwork is likely to be required, both nationally and internationally. This role requires at least 10 years of experience, solid communication skills (written & verbal) in English, an aptitude for learning the technical details of our equipment and software, and attention to detail and quality.

Responsibilities (commensurate with experience)

• Design and coordination of field programs,
• Data interpretation (pumping test analyses, response test analyses, water quality, groundwater levels),
• Groundwater models development (MODFLOW, FEFLOW)
• Report and proposal preparation
• Project management
• Technical review and mentoring
• Business development
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• M.Sc. in Earth Science or Geophysics or M.ASc. in Geological Engineering or Ph.D. in Earth Science or Geological Engineering
• More than 10 years experience
• Solid communication skills (written & verbal) in English
• Background in both field work and groundwater modelling is an asset
• Experience in project management
• Proven track record in developing and maintaining clients
• Experience in Ontario a plus
