Junior Field Technician for Westbay and Diver system

Based in Tucson, the Junior Field Technician will support the Westbay Systems and Divers. Assignments can include travel to field sites for installation of Westbay System & Divers equipment and training of client operators. Assignments at the home office can include maintenance (assembly, testing and documentation) of field equipment items.

Responsibilities:

• Field assignments for installation of Westbay System equipment & Diver monitoring solution and training/certification of client operators;
• Support (telephone, e-mail) of certified client field operators;
• Work under supervision on management, care and servicing of Westbay System and Diver rental/leasing equipment;
• Communicate a consistent, positive and competent image of Schlumberger to our customers;
• Assist in internal sales for Westbay, Divers and cables;
• Contribute to review of internal procedures and documents, representing the customer's point of view;

Requirements:

• Post-Secondary Education in Instrumentation or Earth Sciences;
• Strong mechanical aptitude with good attention to detail;
• At least 1 year experience and/or exposure in field aspects of Earth Sciences applications such as Geotechnical Engineering, Hydrogeology or Geology;
• Familiarity with MS-Office (Word, Excel) mandatory.
