Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Soil Science (08/61)

The Agriculture and Life Sciences Division at Lincoln University is the largest Academic Division within Lincoln University and is made up of four research driven Groups: Agriculture, Cell Biology, Food and Wine, and Soil and Physical Sciences.

We are inviting applications for an academic appointment within the Soil and Physical Sciences Group. You will need to have:

  • A PhD in Soil Science or related discipline
  • The ability and enthusiasm to lecture undergraduate Chemistry, Bio-geo-science and Soil Science subjects plus the ability to teach and supervise Soil Science and Biogeochemistry at postgraduate levels
  • The ability and energy to stimulate and encourage students
  • Strong academic credentials including research publications in high-impact international peer-reviewed journals
  • A demonstrable ability to attract research funding
  • Preference will be given to any candidate with research interests in the biogeochemistry of trace elements and heavy metals.
