 SOIL TESTING LABORATORY Laboratory Reports TechnicianSalary: £15K +, dependent on experience.Working for a soil testing laboratory based in Catherine-de-Barnes near Solihull you will be responsible to the Laboratory Technical Manager. Mainly computer based, your duties will involve inputting, checking and analysis of test data, general office administration work and liasing with other laboratory staff. The successful candidate will have good computer skills, especially with Microsoft Excel spreadsheets. They will be able to work to tight deadlines, be able to multi-task and work under pressure with minimal supervision. A good temperament and self-motivation as well as the ability to analyse basic numerical and graphical information are key requirements for the position. Knowledge of soil testing would be useful though not essential, as all relevant training will be given.
