We invite applications for a research assistantship (3 yr) in Soil Science with specialization in Soil Physics. The research will provide opportunities to conduct field measurements of the soil water balance under diverse conditions, to apply and develop simulation models, and to make pioneering contributions to our understanding of the interactions between water resources and emerging bioenergy cropping systems such as switchgrass, high biomass sorghum, and mixed-species perennials.
