Real time continuous monitoring of contaminant migration in the subsurface is critical for characterization of pollutants fate and to effectively enable remediation. It is the key for realistic evaluation of the potential environmental risks. Job description

Application and operation of advanced monitoring systems for characterization of PFAS transport in the subsurface. It is an internation project that will be conducted paralely in several EU coutries and in Israel. It involves substential field operation as well as controled laboratory experiment, data analysis and modeling of water flow and contaminat transport in the unsaturasted zone.


  • MSc or PhD in hydrology or Soil Sciences
  • Capability to manage a multidisciplinary research project which include: field instrumentation, laboratory column experiment, laboratory analysis, and modeling.
  • Candidate should have exelent comunication capabilities and scientific writing skils
  • The position require team work as well as capabilities to work independently and lead new research directions
