For its group company Geoklock Ltda., Ecogeo is looking for a
Hydrogeologist
Requirements: at least 5 years of practical experience in the following areas:
- Supervision of field activities; compilation and interpretation of data;
- Groundwater flow and transport modeling;
- Knowledge of clean-up and remediation techniques for chlorinated compounds, hydrocarbons and inorganic (metals) contamination;
- Assessment of natural attenuation processes in soil and groundwater;
- Elaboration of technical reports;
- Publication of scientific papers;
- Environmental consulting;
- Leadership and teambuilding;
- Communication with clients.
- language capabilities (fluent in English; Spanish or Portuguese helpful)
Conditions:
- Temporary assignment of 3-6 months as trainee in Sao Paulo, Brazil;
- Practical participation in environmental site assessment and remediation projects;
- Possibility of longer assignment according to legal requirements.
The company covers travel and local living expenses and pays a salary compatible with Brazilian practice.
