3y postdoctoral research fellow funded by NASA
We are looking for a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow who will play a major role in a recently funded NASA Terrestrial Hydrology Project fusing sensors for characterizing flood dynamics. The postdoc will be part of the Geospatial Analysis for Environmental Change Lab (https://www.mirela-tulbure.com/) at the Center for Geospatial Analytics at North Carolina State University and will be able to interact with collaborators at University of North Carolina and State University of New York. The position will require excellent coding skills in python and ideally remote sensing. Prior knowledge on sensor fusion and/ or flooding dynamics is desirable. Starting date for this position is Fall 2021 and applicants must have completed a PhD before the start of the position.
