As water industry regulator Ofwat makes a real difference to essential services we all rely on. We need two great professionals to help us deliver leading edge regulation and shape major chunks of our strategic agenda.

You'll need first class communication and strategy skills, and the ability to manage and motivate experienced teams to deliver great results. Ideally you will have a utility or regulatory background and understand policy or asset management issues. You will have worked in economics, science, engineering or law at a senior level, with a degree or equivalent experience in any of these areas.

Head of Environment and Water Quality

(£55,000 - £68,750), depending on experience, more may be available for an exceptional candidate)

In this role you'll lead our strategic policy on environmental and drinking water quality standards, building our relationships and influence with government, quality regulators and the industry. You'll develop our policy based on sound economics, science and sustainability, and lead our challenge to regulated companies to deliver high standards and best value for consumers. So you'll need great skills in communication, influencing, and analysing and interpreting policy.
