Senior Lecturer (Maître Assistant) in Hydrogeology/Geothermics
The candidate has a Ph.D. in the field of Hydrogeology or Geothermics. He or she holds a Master of Sciences in Earth Sciences or related disciplines (e.g. Civil, or Environmental Engineering). The candidate has a strong interest in collaborative research at the frontier between hydrogeology / geothermics and other fields such as geology, environmental sciences, water resources management, etc. Possible interactions with some of the existing research domains in the group (see www.unine.ch/chyn) are strongly encouraged.
The candidate is expected to give introductory lectures in the field of earth sciences, supervise lab sessions, and field courses for BSc and MSc students. The acquisition of competitive funds (e.g. Swiss National Science Foundation) is expected.
Starting date 1st of October 2020.
