Department: Water and Environment
Location: Bath
Salary: Market Related
Reporting to: Water Resources Manager

Job purpose & summary

  • To provide a technical and administration role on projects
  • To assist in business development and carry out office administration

Key responsibilities & accountabilities

  • To provide technical role within projects, including fieldwork (water sampling, pumping tests, supervision of contractors for example) and office work (data management and analysis, numerical modelling, reporting, filing)
  • To take responsibility for projects on a day-to-day basis, liaising with the project manager, negotiating with contractors, attending technical meetings and ensuring that administrative requirements are satisfied
  • To ensure office administration including tasks as set out in the office management procedures are completed
  • To assist in business development and marketing as required

Department dimensions

The focus of the department is to deliver revenue and growth from water resource projects Services include water resources development and management, vulnerability assessments, water audits and cost reduction assessments. Geographically, the focus is UK, Europe, Middle East and Africa.
