Climate change is the world's greatest challenge.
Are you highly skilled in carrying out climate-related, environmental and social risk and impact assessments for multinational projects? Do you have expert understanding of the latest methodologies and best practice regarding Environmental and Social Safeguards Policy (ESSP) and/or Environmental and Social standards (E&S) ? Then you can significantly strengthen the Environmental and Social Sustainability Unit of our Technical Assessment and Monitoring Directorate, focusing on the climate change and environmental aspects of the crucial projects we lead and support.

Shaping our sustainability framework, you will ensure we effectively manage climate-related risks at project level whilst actively identifying opportunities for investments in improving resilience. At the same time, you will fine-tune our methodologies in line with the Paris Agreement, develop a project pipeline for our Green Social Investment Fund and maximise donor contributions to bring about positive change, giving you considerable variety and an extremely high profile.
