The Opportunity The School of Earth, Atmosphere and Environment is seeking a highly motivated Lecturer or Senior Lecturer (Education Focused) to join their team to support the teaching effort within the Faculty. The School is a globally leading centre of research and education in Earth and Environmental Sciences and is educating the next generation of scientists to find environmental solutions for our society and planet. Education-focused academic staff at Monash are an elite category of our workforce who focus on and contribute to pedagogical innovation and lead the design and delivery of education at the University. This position will primarily focus on delivering an exceptional and inspiring first-year teaching programme in the School of Earth Atmosphere and Environment. This will involve coordinating and delivering multiple units within the School, which are co-taught by academics from the full range of disciplines within the School, including geoscience, environmental science, physical geography and atmospheric science. This position will also assist with the design and delivery of educational programmes across the entire School. The applicant should have:
