NERC Fellowships 2022

Salary: £48,736 - £57,682 per annum

The Grantham Institute, Imperial College London, is providing support for candidates to apply for the 2022 NERC (Natural Environmental Research Council) Independent Research Fellowships and is inviting applications. Applications within any NERC remit will be considered. Eligible candidates will first need to be nominated by a co-host department at Imperial College London. The Grantham Institute will support these candidates in their proposal preparation for NERC. After the completion of the NERC selection process, candidates who were unsuccessful will then be considered for an independent Grantham Research Fellowship. Successful NERC fellows will be co-hosted at the appropriate Imperial department and the Grantham Institute. They will be offered a PhD studentship by the Grantham Institute and extensive personalised professional development training, including on communications, media, policy, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
