A position as Associate Professor (position code 1011) in Structural Geology is available at the Department of Geosciences. It will be hosted in the section for Geology and Geophysics (G&G), which covers the dynamics of geological processes, including the analysis of structures and the transformation and deformation of rocks, the crust and the upper reaches of Earth's mantle. In both research and teaching we do extensive field work and laboratory-based studies.

The primary role of the position is to utilize seismic data and various analytical tools to study factors controlling crustal tectonics, nucleation and growth of faults, and links between basin structures and fluid flow. Complementary skills should include structural analyses of outcrops (for more details, see links below).
