Vacant Position as Researcher - Seabed Acoustics
As a researcher in marine geology you will participate in our regular tasks related to geological mapping of the Norwegian offshore areas. You will be involved in geological map production as well as research and development using multibeam echosounder data for interpretation and spatial prediction of seabed conditions and processes. Salary is regulated by the Basic Collective Agreement for the Civil Service, researcher code 1109, from NOK 580,000 to NOK 830,000 gross per year depending on qualifications. As a Norwegian state employee you contribute 2 % of your salary to the Norwegian Public Service Pension Fund. Anyone applying for the position must apply digitally through the job portal Webcruiter.
