Publish your Short Resume on the acclaimed EARTHWORKS web pages

Free of Charge to those who follow us on Twitter!

A step by step guide

  1. Write your Short Resume in the style of the example below. Include your e-mail contact address and the country you are resident in, and the areas you are available to work in. Recruiters will not contact you unless they know where you are resident. Be sure to tell us which category to publish your resume in.

  2. Cut and paste your Short Resume into an e-mail to Earthworks. Any attachments sent to this e-mail address are automatically deleted without review.

  3. If you want to post your Short Resume free of charge simply follow us on Twitter . Thats all you need to do. We will receive a notification from Twitter that you are following us and will then go ahead and post your Short Resume free of charge. We only Tweet jobs so this is a very convenient way to get regular updates - much better than receiving jobs by email. Simply email us when you want your Short Resume removing from the site.
  4. For those who don't want to follow us on Twitter - a one off administration fee of US Dollars 10.00 is payable for publication of your Short Resume for 12 months in up to two separate categories. Please pay by credit card using our simple secure online payment system - click here

  5. Resumes are usually deleted after 12 months publication. Email us if you wish them to be removed in less than 12 months from publication.

  6. Please note we don't guarantee that you will get a job through this system. However, our customers frequently tell us that they get very significantly more high quality responses through Earthworks than through Monster and other similar Resume publication services etc. We would strongly advise you against using and paying money for Resume blaster type services which promise to scattergun your Resume to 1000's of recruiters/companies. They just annoy everyone ... we receive dozens per day and they are routed automatically to the trash can. We would black list companies such as RocketResumes, Resume Rabbit and Oilcareer (Resume blasting/mass distributing companies) for spamming.

Tips For Writing a Short Resume

  • Use less than 75 words and use the example below as a template.
  • Use a spell chucker (that was a joke :-)).
  • Indicate where you are based and where you are available to work ie based in Denver, CO....Sidcup, Kent....Waga Waga, available worldwide.
  • Give a contact e-mail address rather than a postal address or phone number.
  • If you have your own webspace why not use it to write a detailed Resume. We will include your resume web address in your Short Resume if required.

Please be aware that once your Resume is published it can be easily copied and circulated via headhunters, recruiters etc who may contact you and request fees for placements etc. Please be advised that neither Earthworks nor agencies providing services to us ask for payments from candidates to cover costs of work permits and other pre-employment expenses. If you are asked to provide such payments, then the offer is unlikely to be genuine.

Similarly, publication of your e-mail address may result in an increase in junk mail. Standard practice is to send a note to the webmaster of the ISP whose mail service is being used requesting an exclusion. We strongly advise you to use a disposable e-mail address.
