Senior Hydrographic Surveyor

Green Rebel Group specializes in the acquisition, processing, and extraction of geospatial data for offshore energy developments. We are currently seeking a full-time senior Hydrographic surveyor who will serve as a key member of Green Rebel's survey team, based in Crosshaven, Co Cork. The role will involve hydrographic data collection as well as system calibrations and maintaining good working order of all equipment.

Key duties and responsibilities

  • Acquisition and management of hydrographic data
  • Maintaining quality control
  • Mobilising, calibrating, and maintaining equipment
  • Assisting with data processing while offshore or in our offices
  • Overseeing junior survey teammates

Essential

  • Four years' experience in hydrographic surveying
  • Degree in hydrography or other relevant marine science
  • Experience with modern hydrographic equipment
  • Knowledge of GNSS and INS systems
  • Experience with acquisition and processing software
  • Ability to work offshore
  • Ability to travel within the EU

Desirable

  • Ability to assist with geophysical data collection
  • Experience with offshore wind energy
  • Logically minded with critical thinking ability
  • Tidy and organised

Senior Geophysical Surveyor

We are are currently seeking a full-time senior geophysicist who will serve as a key member of Green Rebel's survey team, based in Crosshaven, Co Cork. The role will involve marine geophysical data collection as well as system calibrations and maintaining good working order of all equipment.

  • Experience with parametric SBP, SSS, gradiometers
  • Knowledge of GNSS and INS systems
  • Experience with acquisition and processing software
  • Ability to work offshore
  • Ability to travel within the EU

  • Ability to assist with hydrographic data collection
  • Experience with offshore wind energy
  • Logically minded with critical thinking ability
